Parkside
The Parkside neighborhood is a century-old community of Camden, New Jersey, bordering the towns of Collingswood and Pennsauken.
Camden's Parkside Neighborhood is an urban residential neighborhood with economy of space. It is a walkable, transit-oriented neighborhood book-ended by two hospitals which are among Camden’s largest employers. In addition to its growing small business district along Haddon Avenue our 55-block neighborhood also contains the 70-acre Farnham Park.
Parkside continues to demonstrate strong progress over the past decade and is well-positioned to build upon a foundation of social and structural improvements that are not only sustainable at the current level, but poised to grow. In addition to business development support from HABA, Parkside is also includes its own community development 501-C3, Parkside Business and Community in Partnership (PBIP). Through its history, PBCIP has maintained a strong tradition of resident-led change in the Parkside neighborhood.
